FRTOL / ROCC Examiner, Instructor & Owner

Andy Moon

Andy has been an authorised CAA FRTOL / ROCC Examiner since 2002 and is a current EASA ATPL licence holder flying the Airbus A330-200 for a UK based operator. He is also rated to fly the largest aircraft in the RAF, the ‘Voyager’ Multi Role Tanker /Transport (MRTT) and commissioned with Merit from the oldest and most prestigious air college in the world, RAF Collage Cranwell. As well as operating flights all around the globe, Andy enjoys the thrill of General Aviation and keeps his single engine piston rating current flying an array of light aircraft.

Andy is able to relate to all aspects of Radiotelephony, Civil (G/A & Commercial), Military and ATC. He holds a validated Flight Information Service Officers (FISO) licence and has been working in Air Traffic part time since 2001 as a hobby to broaden his experience and Radiotelephony knowledge 'seeing it from the other side.'

Once the youngest examiner in the CAA, Andy is an active member of the CAA Radiotelephony & Phraseology working group where he contributes to changes and improvements in his specialist area of Radiotelephony procedures and examining. Andy is also an independent EASA subject specialist for communications.

George Bloor

George is an Airfield Duty Manager with Manchester Airports Group at one of the UK's busiest airports and manages the operation of a highly complex airport environment on a day to day basis. Whilst still relatively young, George has gained significant experience in the aviation sector, working internationally with Airports Council International in Washington D.C. and more recently in China as part of Manchester's successful efforts to increase direct connectivity and commercial trade between the two regions.

An air trafficker at heart, George has remained a practicing FISO since his validation in 2011 and has operated at a number of aerodromes across the country.
